Abdul Gaffar Chowdhury: A witness to history

Saturday, May 28: People from all walks of life turned up at Dhaka's Central Shaheed Minar to pay their last respects to the late journalist Abdul Gaffar Chowdhury, composer of the song "Amar bhaier rokte rangano ekushe February".

Earlier in the day, at 11 am, his body arrived at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport under state supervision.
