Bickering is always there in UP polls: Home Minister

At least six people were killed and 18 others were injured in separate clashes during the second phase of the union parishad elections in 835 unions today.

At the time, miscreants attacked six houses including that of two member candidates in Shariatpur. Even journalists were attacked in Natore.

Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan said, "It's always seen during the UP elections… It's an election of establishing supremacy. There are always bickerings," adding that the police are doing their job.
