Ferry movement halted to protect Padma bridge

In order to avoid collision with the Padma Bridge, ferry services in Shimulia in Munshiganj and Banglabazar in Madaripur have been halted indefinitely.

The BIWTC said ferry traffic on the Shimulia-Banglabazar waterway would not be normalized until the strong currents subsided.
