'Give us work; give us food!'

Hear the cries of one of the numerous mothers failing to feed their children, countless individuals struggling to survive during these lockdowns.

Today (July 12, 2021), hundreds of low income people were seen waiting for hours to get a handful of sugar, lentils and cooking oil from a Trading Corporation of Bangladesh (TCB) truck in front of TT Para, in Dhaka's Kamalapur.

This is a recurring scenario all over the country -- hundreds of people waiting to get by for another day, trying to buy for a little less to feed the family a little more.
