How did Bangladesh receive record high remittance during pandemic?

Despite the ongoing global economic depression, decline in employment and reduced migration, Bangladeshi expatriates have sent record high remittance in 2020-2021 fiscal year.

During the year, according to Bangladesh Bank, USD 24.78 billion remittance inflow has been recorded, which is 36% higher than the last fiscal year.
