Prachyanat’s new drama focuses Rohingya sufferings

Theatre group Prachyanat has staged their new documentary play ‘Polythene House’ featuring the sufferings of Rohingya refugees in Bangladesh.

The first public show of this new documetary-drama was held at Shilpakala Academy Auditorium last Thursday.

In this 40-minute show, artists of the theatre troupe portrayed the Rohingas sufferings in Myanmar and their present life in Bangladesh camps.  

The play was also staged in Asian youth theatre festival in Singapore last year and appreciated by the audience abroad.
