Thousands of people stranded in Lalmonirhat, Kurigram floodwater

Thousands of people have been living in waterlogged areas along the Teesta, Dharla, and Dudhkumar rivers in Lalmonirhat and Kurigram.

The water of the rivers is currently flowing above the danger level, flooding the char and riverside areas. Water level in other rivers, specifically in the Brahmaputra, is also increasing.
