The government is planning to bring 80% of the country’s population under Covid-19 vaccination, and has announced that two crore individuals will be given vaccines each month.

The government is planning to bring 80% of the country's population under Covid-19 vaccination, and has announced that two crore individuals will be given vaccines each month.

But, as of now, only 12 percent of people have completed two doses of vaccine and many are waiting for their SMS confirming the date of their inoculation.

So, why exactly is the vaccination drive still below expected? Does the government have sufficient amount of vaccines in stock?
