The 20th session of the 10th parliament that began today will continue till April 12.

Parliament will go into the Budget session on June 1, a Parliament Secretariat press release says.

Civil society platform Ain O Salish Kendra voices concern over plans to form a "media monitoring cell" and urged the government not to take hasty steps in this regard.

The 10th session of the parliament will continue till May 5 with nine working days as per the decision taken at a meeting of Business Advisory Committee at the Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban, meeting sources say.

The 10th parliament will go into its 10th session on April 24, after a 54-day recess.
