The closing ceremony, which will be held on January 19 at the National Museum, will be attended by Cultural Affairs Adviser Mostofa Sarwar Farooki.

An array of topics on women in film was discussed at the fifth Dhaka International Conference on Women in Cinema 2019. The conference was organised at Alliance Française de Dhaka by Rainbow Film Society, in association with the Women and Gender Studies department of the University of Dhaka (DU), as a part of the 17th Dhaka International Film Festival (DIFF).

With the motto 'Better Film, Better Audience, Better Society', the 17th edition of Dhaka International Film Festival (DIFF) opens today. It will run till January 18. Rainbow Film Society is organising the festival, with support from a long list of patrons and partners.
