The number of road accidents during the Eid rush saw a sharp rise in last three years as the deaths increased significantly, a passengers' platform said yesterday.

At least 339 people are killed and 1,265 injured in 277 road accidents during the Eid-ul-Fitr holidays this year, a passengers' welfare platform says.
