World's first 3D-printed hotel being built in Texas
El Cosmico, an existing hotel and campground in Marfa, Texas, is expanding in a unique way. By 2026, it plans to become the world’s first 3D-printed hotel, thanks to a collaboration between hotelier Liz Lambert from Icon, a Texas-based 3D printing company, and the design company Bjarke Ingels Group.

Texas to house the world's largest 3D-printed neighbourhood
The world's largest 3D-printed neighbourhood is near completion in Wolf Ranch, a community in Georgetown, about 30 miles from Austin, Texas. The project is being handled by Vulcan, a robotic-arm-mounted 3D printer made by the Texas-based tech firm ICON.

Did you know an Indian startup 3D-printed a house in 21 days?
On April 27, 2021, Tvasta, a startup founded by alumni from the Indian Institute of Technology Madras, completed the construction of India's first 3D-printed house - in only 21 days. Modules for this 500 sq. ft. house were printed in the startup's facility in Chennai and assembled at the site, as per the company's official website.
