Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina yesterday said the January 5, 2014 general election was not a voter-less polls, like those held during the BNP and Ershad regimes.

The next parliamentary election will be held in line with the constitution and with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in office, Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader said yesterday.

It is a great relief that 5th January passed off without any untoward incident, although the stipulations set by the DMP before giving the go-ahead were observed only in their violation.
