A new sample pack titled "Contemporary Bangla Choir" has been launched on the music creation platform Splice under the Aaroh label, created and produced by Dhaka-based musician and composer Armeen Musa.

Naquib Khan, once a celebrated singer and composer, has been less active with new songs or stage performances in recent years. However, the artiste made a remarkable return, at the “Gaane Gaane Bangladesh” concert held in London where he reunited with his former band, Souls, after nearly four decades.

There was a relatively lower release of new songs by production houses as their emphasis shifted towards drama production. Despite this, listeners continued to enjoy and appreciate the existing Bengali tracks.

Even though she started her journey in “Close Up 1” in 2006, Abanti Sithi finally gained the recognition that she deserved in 2018 in Kolkata’s “Sa Re Ga Ma Pa” in 2018. The good news is that, this Eid-ul-Azha, five films were released, and it is a great sign for the industry that the audience are returning to the halls, and appreciating most of the films. At the same time, songs that these films showcase have played a great role as promotions for these films.
