Krishak Sramik Janata League walks out of Jatiya Oikyafront alleging that the alliance failed to wage movement against the government.

Veteran freedom fighter Kader Siddique and his party Krishak Sramik Janata League (KSJL) yesterday joined the Jatiya Oikyafront, a newly floated political alliance.

A meeting between top leaders of Jatiya Oikyafront and Krishak Sramik Janata League (KSJL) ended inconclusively last night, as the latter is yet to decide whether to join the recently-formed opposition alliance.

The High Court upholds the Election Commission's decision that had cancelled the candidacy of Krishak Sramik Janata League President Abdul Kader Siddique for Tangail-4 by-polls.

The Supreme Court extends till January 31 its order that had stayed the process for holding Tangail-4 by-polls. It asks High Court to hear and dispose of a rule issued over the nomination of Krishak Shramik Janata League President Abdul Kader Siddique by this time.
