Additional Deputy Commissioner Sheikh Murshidul Islam of Laxmipur and former acting civil surgeon Salahuddin Sharif of the district “settled the dispute” between them at a meeting organised by the district administration yesterday.

The High Court yesterday summoned Additional Deputy Commissioner (general) of Laxmipur Sheikh Murshidul Islam and Executive Magistrate Nuruzzaman over an incident of punishing a former acting civil surgeon through a mobile court.
