The 52nd edition of the International Emmy Awards was held on November 25 in New York City, showcasing the best of global television. 

“The Night Manager” follows the story of an undercover militant, Shaan Sengupta (Aditya Kapur) who has infiltrated the criminal circle of an international arms dealer, Shailendra Rungta aka Shelly (Anil Kapoor). Now, with Shaan leaking the criminal circle’s secrets, Shelly is out to hunt the mole in his group.

Aditya Roy Kapur was overjoyed after Tom Hiddleston video called him to praise his performance in “The Night Manager”. The hit Disney+ Hotstar show is an official adaptation of the English series, which starred Tom Hiddleston as ‘Jonathan Pine’.

After his debut film, the 29-year-old went on to share screen space with Bollywood stars like Hrithik Roshan and Akshay Kumar. Then in 2013, Aashiqui 2 -- about a fallen singer Rahul Jaikar, portrayed by Aditya -- changed things for him.
