Preparations are underway for the upcoming Eid-ul-Azha film season, with possibly seven Dhallywood movies scheduled for release during the festivities.

The film “Pinik”, starring Ador Azad and Bubly, is gearing up for release this Eid-ul-Azha. The film was officially announced last November with the unveiling of its first-look poster, initially targeting a release during Eid-ul-Fitr. However, the plan did not materialise, and the film’s team is now aiming for an Eid-ul-Azha release.

Deepto TV has announced a week-long special programme to mark Eid-ul-Fitr, featuring a lineup of Bengali films, including three world premieres.

Today, the official first look at the upcoming film “Tagar” was released to reveal Puja Chery as the heroine. Moreover, Ador Azad will star opposite Puja in this Aalok Hasan directorial.

Actress Shobnom Bubly shared the poster of her upcoming starrer project “Pinik” on social media, announcing its release during Eid. The film is set to join the lineup alongside new movies starring Shakib Khan, Siam Ahmed, and Afran Nisho for the upcoming Eid-ul-Fitr.

On the first day of the year (yesterday), actor Ador Azad and actress Prarthana Fardin Dighi officially unveiled the teaser of their upcoming film. This project, directed by Alok Hasan, is titled “Tagar”.

Puja Chery starrer “Nakphul” has secured approval from the censor board to rename the film’s title as “Nakphuler Kabya”.

Confirming the release date, sources from the film’s production company, Bengal Multimedia Ltd, said, “We are almost done with the post-production of the movie, and if everything goes well, we will release it on the upcoming Valentine's Day.”

In a recent development, the actress has inked a deal to work on another project with the same director, titled "Dorodiya", where she'll be sharing the screen with Ador Azad. This film will mark the third collaboration between the two actors.
