Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero is determined to produce his best form in the final three months of the campaign before he holds talks on his future at the Premier League club in June.

The Argentine has now scored five hat tricks in the Premier League – and the only player outside of Europe who has more is the former Liverpool man.

Argentina were below-par all evening and finally slumped to a 2-0 defeat against Ecuador in Buenos Aires, as the absences of Messi and Aguero were felt keenly up-front.
