High Court upholds death penalty for six persons who were convicted earlier of assassinating Awami League lawmaker Ahsanullah Master in Tongi near the capital, Dhaka, in 2004.

The High Court is set to deliver today its verdict on the death reference and appeals in the case filed in connection with the assassination of Awami League lawmaker Ahsanullah Master in Tongi in May 2004.

The High Court will deliver its verdict on June 15 on acquittal appeals of the convicts in Awami League lawmaker Ahsanullah Master killing case.
