Indian High Commissioner to Dhaka Riva Ganguly Das says rail communication between Akhaura of Bangladesh and India’s Agartala will start by next year.

The railway link between Akhaura of Bangladesh and India’s Agartala will be completed by September 2021, officials said today.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and her Indian counterpart Narendra Modi will jointly inaugurate Kulaura-Shahbazpur Section Rehabilitation and Akhaura-Agartala Dual Gauge Rail Connection through videoconferencing tomorrow.
