Last year, Bangladesh’s Jaya Ahsan achieved a groundbreaking milestone at the International Film Festival of India (IFFI), representing five films spanning three distinct film industries. This year, she will return to the 55th edition of IFFI with the film “Bhootpori”, which has been selected to be screened in the Feature Film segment within the Indian Panorama section of the festival.

Ziaul Faruq Apurba is all set to emerge as the latest hero of Tollywood, marking his return to the big screen after an eight-year hiatus. The actor, especially popular on the small screen, will debut in West Bengal with “Chalchitra”, directed by Pratim D Gupta.

The acclaimed actress was last seen in 2019 in the late director Gautam Halder's “Nirban” and is making a comeback after four years of hiatus in her long, glorious film career. Before “Nirban”, she played a lead role in Rituparno Ghosh's 2003 film “Shubho Mahurat”.
