The Monsoon Revolution Film Production Workshop has officially been launched under the initiative of the Ministry of Cultural Affairs, with the vision of decentralising the filmmaking industry and nurturing new talent from across the country. The workshop aims to create opportunities for aspiring filmmakers beyond Dhaka, empowering them with hands-on training in storytelling, cinematography, production, editing, and the application of technology in filmmaking.

Renowned actress Azmeri Haque Badhan, celebrated for her stellar performances in films and web series, will no longer be a part of Lamia Chowdhury's highly anticipated film, “Meyeder Golpo.”

The web-series “Rongila Kitab”, directed by Anam Biswas, premiered on the OTT platform Hoichoi on November 8. Adapted from Kinkar Ahsan’s novel of the same name, this series unfolds across eight episodes. 

Anam Biswas became a household name after his much-appreciated movie “Debi”. His directorials tend to reflect his talent, and he has garnered praise for every project he’s undertaken—be it a film or web content. Besides directing, Anam is also recognised for his songwriting skills.

This actor has consistently showcased his remarkable talent on OTT platforms, with standout performances in roles such as Moloy in ‘Mohanagar’ and Amlan in ‘Kaiser’. Through these and other memorable characters, Mostafizur Noor Imran has proven his versatility and skill, solidifying his reputation as a standout actor in the industry.

The much-anticipated trailer of Anam Biswas directorial web-series "Rongila Kitab" was released today at a grand event at the Bangladesh Film Archive.

Anam Biswas, director of the popular movie Debi is currently working on a new project, a web series. Anam said, “The name for the web series has not been finalized yet although primarily we are considering the title, Going going go”.
