Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s “Kabir Singh”, which starred Shahid Kapoor in the lead role, defied criticism for its misogynistic content and emerged as a box office hit. In the years since the film’s release, discourse around it has refused to die down, and now, actor Adil Hussain has said that it’s the only film in his career that he regrets being a part of.

Netflix has acquired the official streaming rights for the high-octane movie, which is set to release in early 2024.

Initially scheduled for release on August 11, Animal was rescheduled to December 1, avoiding clashes with other major films. The movie now faces competition with Vicky Kaushal's "Sam Bahadur".

Bangladesh Film Censor Board (BFCB) member and producer Khorshed Alam Khosru informed that imported films like “Animal” require clearance from BFCB as well, before officially being released in the local theatres.

Now, Bangladeshi fans will be able to witness the Ranbir Kapoor starrer film on the same as its global debut, as the film is set to release in local theatres on December 1.

More than 52,500 advance tickets worth Rs 3.4 crore have been sold within the first day of opening the advance booking of Ranbir Kapoor starrer, Animal.
