Shakib Khan and Bollywood actress Sonal Chauhan came in front of the media for the first time, after their film "Dorod" was announced.

In the wake of Shakib Khan’s troubles regarding attaining a visa to travel to India, the star finally reached Mumbai airport today in the afternoon, to shoot for Bangladesh's first Pan-Indian movie “Dorod” as the lead actor. He was welcomed warmly by the film's director Anonno Mamun.

The shooting of the film will begin in Banaras from October 20. “Since it is a pan-Indian cinema, so we will have the opportunity to release it simultaneously in for the audiences in Bangla, Tamil, and Telegu. After confirming the news to The Daily Star, Anonno Mamun shared that Shakib will surprise everyone with his look for this project, and at he is working on it at this very moment.

After "Priyotoma", Dhallywood King Shakib Khan is ready to set the screens ablaze with his latest film, "Dorod", directed by Anonno Mamun. The film's casting has been shrouded in speculation for quite some time, but the wait is over as Bollywood actress and singer Sonal Chauhan will be sharing the screen with Shakib Khan in this film. 

Earlier, when Shah Rukh Khan's film "Pathaan" saw release in Bangladesh in May, a group of directors had vehemently opposed its screening, citing concerns about the potential detriment to the local film industry.

Anonno Mamun's plan to make a pan-Indian film featuring Shakib Khan has faced a setback as Bollywood actor Faisal Khan, who was initially set to star alongside Shakib, has decided not to be a part of the project. Mamun had previously shared his excitement about bringing the two talented actors from different industries together. 

Anonno Mamun mentioned that an official announcement will be made only after Shakib Khan returns from the United States. As fans eagerly await the revelation, the director keeps the suspense intact, intensifying the intrigue surrounding the film.

Anonno Mamun is in Mumbai right now and the director has confirmed that he has officially signed the heroine and villain for his upcoming movie. 

While many are vying to postpone "Pathaan" release in Bangladesh, director Anonno Mamun, who is responsible for the import of “Pathaan”, announced that the film will be released on May 5.

On the occasion of the birthday of the ‘Father of the Nation’, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, Anonno Mamun's film "Radio", which is based on the historic March 7 speech of Bangabandhu, was released in 7 theaters today. 

For the first time, a film is being made based on the historic speech delivered by Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman on March 7,1971 at the Ramna Race Course field. Directed by Anonno Mamun, the film is called “Radio”. Set in 1971, the plot revolves around a radio that kept a remote village connected to the rest of the world.

This is the second time now that the release of Anonno Mamun’s “Makeup” has been halted by the Bangladesh Film Censor Board. On January 21, the Appellate Committee declared the film ‘unfit’ for a theatrical release.

In a recent visit to Kolkata, the two worlds collided as Dhallywood actor Nirab Hossain met up with Tollywood diva Rituparna Sengupta.  The “Casino” famed actor was welcomed with warmth into the actress’s home amid the Saraswati Puja celebrations.

"Makeup", a film directed by Anonno Mamun, starring Tariq Anam Khan, Ziaul Roshan, and Nipa Ahmed Realy in prominent roles was previewed by the Bangladesh Film Censor Board today. The film was declared unfit for release according to the appeal committee.

Tollywood’s Rituparna Sengupta and popular model Jessia Islam will be seen in the Indo-Bangladesh joint venture “Sporsho”. The shooting of the movie will commence soon in Kolkata. The film will be jointly directed by Bangladesh’s Anonno Mamun, and Indian filmmaker Abhinandan Dutta.
