Hatkhola Foundation organised a three-day long festival, titled “Chattogram Cultural Festival and Book Fair”, showcasing artworks and ancient relics.

Veering off from stories for a bit, Fahim Anzoom Rumman’s “The Secret” was a breath of fresh air. The piece seemed to be a cross between a poem and the kind of fable your grandparents would tell you as a kid to get you to fall asleep.

A picture is worth a thousand words. Maybe that’s why art is often referred to as a universal language that can connect with people everywhere on a deeper and emotional level. Which really begs the question that do you really need to ‘understand art’ to enjoy it? In other words, do you really need to be a connoisseur to appreciate art?
