In the wake of severe criticism on social media, the education ministry has launched a probe into the incident of public humiliation of a headmaster in Narayanganj for his alleged derogatory comments on religion.

The High Court has ordered a judicial probe against the upazila nirbahi officer (UNO) and the executive magistrate of Bhandaria of Pirojpur for their humiliating treatment of a teacher.

The High Court directs Buet authorities to allow its four expelled students, also leaders of Bangladesh Chhatra League, to avail all student facilities including attending classes and examinations.
