​Sylhet Divisional Speedy Trial Tribunal issues death warrants for death row criminal Huji chief Mufti Abdul Hannan and two others, a day after the Supreme Court released the full text of its verdict upholding his death penalty.

The Supreme Court has released full verdict on the review petition of militant leader Mufti Abdul Hannan, that upheld his death for a 2004 grenade attack on UK envoy in Dhaka. A presidential clemency is now the only last resort for the convicts.
