Fishermen started preparation for netting hilsa as the 22-day ban on catching, selling, hoarding and transporting of the fish will end after midnight today.

River police to conduct special drive across all the fishing terminals and chain shops during the ban on catching, selling, transporting and hoarding of hilsa from October 1 to October 22.
