Two more mortar shells fired from Myanmar fighter jets landed inside Bangladeshi territory in Bandarban this (September 3, 2022) morning, police said.

India has assured Bangladesh of all sorts of cooperation in setting up border outposts (BOP), constructing roads and installing surveillance equipment and censors in remote bordering areas.

Bangladesh and Myanmar will jointly work to remove land mines from their respective border areas. Both the countries agreed to take necessary steps in this regard in a bid to establish good border management, said a press release jointly issued jointly by Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) and Myanmar Police Force (MPF).
