Permanent and makeshift markets of sacrificial animals will be arranged maintaining the health guidelines and social distancing measures this year, Local Government and Rural Development (LGRD) Minister Md Tajul Islam says.

The country is unlikely to face a shortage of cattle during the upcoming Eid-ul-Azha as the supply of locally-reared cattle is quite enough to meet the demand for sacrificial animals, say officials.
