The central bank directive came during a meeting between BB Governor Abdur Rouf Talukder and the managing directors of five leading private commercial banks on Sunday.

The market will determine the price of the US dollar in the future once the current situation centring it improves, according to Bangladesh Bank Governor Abdur Rouf Talukder.

The taka depreciated once again against the US dollar in the inter-bank foreign exchange market today.
