Bangladesh has agreed to ink the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) with India; a free trade agreement that will boost economic ties between the two countries.

Leading companies from India and Bangladesh sign 13 MoUs and agreements for electricity, oil and gas projects, including the controversial Rampal thermal power plant, worth nearly $10 billion, aimed at deepening the bilateral economic partnership.
