Bangladesh Bank Governor Dr Ahsan H. Mansur today announced two major funds to support the country’s startup ecosystem during the ongoing Bangladesh Investment Summit 2025.

More than 550 foreign investors from 50 countries have registered, alongside 2,500 local participants, to attend the summit.

Bangladesh Investment Summit 2025 has begun at Intercontinental Dhaka on April 7, 2025. 

The recently enacted decisions by the US government regarding tariffs will not affect the upcoming Bangladesh Investment Summit 2025, according to Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA) Executive Chairman Ashik Chowdhury.

The Bangladesh Investment Summit 2025 is set to begin at the InterContinental Dhaka tomorrow, taking place at a critical juncture when foreign direct investment (FDI) inflows have plunged to a six-year low, raising concerns about the country’s investment climate.

The Bangladesh Investment Summit, set to take place from April 7 to 10 at Hotel InterContinental Dhaka, aims to strengthen investment opportunities in the country. 

The summit presents a crucial opportunity to restore investor confidence, showcase economic reforms, and position Bangladesh as a competitive investment destination.
