Swapna Saha had been suffering from peptic ulcers for years and undergoing treatment at various medical institutions in Bangladesh and India.

Bappy announced his wish to follow his senior colleagues and contemporaries such as Ferdous Ahmed and Mahiya Mahi.

This October also marks a special milestone for Bappy - 11 years in the film industry. His cinematic journey began with the movie "Bhalobashar Rong", where he shared the screen with Mahiya Mahi. Since that debut, Bappy has graced the silver screen consistently. The actor is currently taking a well-deserved break during the Puja holidays, cherishing the free time.

Apu Biswas' latest release "Laal Sari," will be released this Eid. She will be seen opposite Symon Sadik in the film. 

On the occasion of the victory day, two films based on the liberation war were released yesterday in 23 theatres countrywide. One is Kazi Hayat directorial, “Joy Bangla” and the other is “Ekatorrer Ekkhondo Itihash” directed by Mizanur Rahman Shamim.

The Kazi Hayat directorial venture, "Joy Bangla" will hit the theatres on Victory Day (December 16) of this year.
