Actress Afia Nusrat Barsha had revealed her decision to step away from acting. However, for now, she is still working on the silver screen.  

The atmosphere at The Daily Star office brightened as the couple complimented each other's attire for the photo shoot, blending Western and Eastern styles. While Barsha opted for a Pakistani suit in blue and red, Ananta Jalil, the dashing action star, looked striking in a white suit and brown-golden Gucci shirt and grey pants.

In 2010, Ananta Jalil made his acting debut with the film "Khoj: The Search". Later, Ananta Jalil and Barsha worked together in movies like "Nishwartho Bhalobasha", "Most Welcome", "Khoj: The Search", "Deewana", and several others, and Ananta Jalil also turned a producer. 

The enduring literary legacy of the late writer Qazi Anwar Hussain lives on through his immortal creation “Masud Rana”. An upcoming film titled “Cheetah” has been written based on the author's novel “Operation Cheetah”.

Iqbal informed that he made contact with Nana Patekar through a Tamil director friend of his. “We haven’t yet decided on the shooting dates. After we sign Nana Patekar, we will sit together with all the parties involved and decide on the shooting schedules,” Iqbal said.

Ananta Jalil and Barsha starrer “Kill Him” was released across 11 theatres on the occasion of Eid. This is the first time Barsha donned the role of a villain and the film is doing fairly well at multiplexes.

While Barsha was missing from Ananta's birthday programme yesterday,the actress made sure to surprise her husband late at night with a huge birthday cake. 

Ananta Jalil and Barsha arranged a special press meet at BFDC, where they talked with the media about their movie "Kill Him." Barsha, who plays a villain in the movie, claimed that fans compared Ananta with Bollywood megastar Shah Rukh Khan. 

This Eid will mark the first time that Ananta Jalil and Barsha will star in a film, that is not produced by Ananta. "Kill Him", which stars Ananta Jalil as a cop/killer, has raised more intrigue since the poster was unveiled last night.

The duo will be flying to Kashmir to shoot for a song from the film. The news was confirmed by Ananta himself to The Daily Star.

Ananta Jalil unveiled the first look and teaser of his much-awaited film “Kill Him” at its muhurat ceremony at BFDC yesterday. This is the first time that Jalil and his wife Barsha are not working on their own production. The action thriller film is being produced and directed by Mohammad Iqbal, under the banner of Sunan movies.

Three movies, “Din: The Day”, “Poran” and “Psycho”, are all set to be released this Eid. All of the movies have started their promotion campaigns by uploading posters, trailers, and songs on social media.
