Protesting alleged government interference and irregularities in the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) elections, 38 cricket clubs from three major divisions of the country have announced a boycott of all domestic cricket competitions.

An election commissioner of the upcoming Board of Directors' election of the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) said on Wednesday that the Election Commission (EC) had received 30 objections to the draft voters' list and would hold hearings on those complaints on Thursday.
