Bangladesh’s struggle in Tests, compounded by poor fan engagement and stadium conditions, raises questions about Bangladesh Cricket Board’s (BCB) commitment to fostering a strong cricket culture.

The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) cancelled the directorship of eleven board directors, including former president Nazmul Hassan Papon, after a meeting at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur on Wednesday.

Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) president Faruque Ahmed has made a meal manoeuvring the removal of national team head coach Chandika Hathursingha.

The board said in a statement that the 61-year-old former West Indies batter Simmons has reached an agreement to work with BCB until the ICC Champions Trophy in Pakistan next year.
