At least nine people, including five policemen, were injured as activists of Bangladesh Chhatra League and police clashed on Chittagong University campus yesterday.

A group of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) activists allegedly swooped on the students while they were staging demonstration demanding road safety in Chittagong city.

BCL men have attacked quota reformists at least 13 times in the last three months, injuring around 68 students of four universities. But neither police nor the university authorities took action against any of the attackers.
