As the year comes to a close, several films are set for theatrical release, with “Nakshikanthar Zamin” (“A Tale of Two Sisters”), directed by Akram Khan, scheduled to premiere on December 27.  

The festival will be held from February 29 February to March 7 in Bangalore, India. Showcasing over 200 films from all over the world in more than 15 sections.

Jaya Ahsan starrer "Nakshi Kanthar Jamin (A Tale of Two Sisters)" and Nusraat Faria starrer "Patalghar" is all set to compete in the 'Asian Competition' category at the prestigious Bengaluru International Film Festival.
