Establish accountability to tackle habitual time-cost overruns in government projects

Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader says around 1,000 volunteers will be deployed at 14 spots on different highways ahead of the Eid-ul Fitr to ensure smooth vehicular movement.

The government is to build a four-lane flyover at Bhulta on the Dhaka-Sylhet highway to ease traffic movement at the busy intersection used by vehicles of four different routes.
