Many celebrities are coming forward and buying burnt clothes to help raise money for victims of Bangabazar fire. Noted actor Siam Ahmed has also come forward to help raise money for the cause. 

After Tahsan, Bubly, and Bidya Sinha Mim, the actor has also bought a burnt pair of jeans for BDT 1 lakh.

Queen Elizabeth II of UK has recognized Bidyanondo founder Kishore Kumar Das with Commonwealth Points of Light award in honour of his exceptional voluntary service.

Bidyanondo, a non-profit social welfare organization which has been engaged in distributing personal protective equipment for free owing to a growing demand during the ongoing coronavirus outbreak, have appealed for grants from the masses.
