“Bildakini” was set to hit theatres today, after facing multiple changes to its official release date. However, at the eleventh hour, the release of the government-funded film has been postponed once again. The director of the film, Fazlul Kabir Tuhin confirmed the news to the local media. 

Renowned actor Mosharraf Karim has made his playback debut in Fazlul Kabir Tuhin’s film “Bildakini”. The song, titled “Bhalo Bhalo Lage Na”, has been penned and composed by Mosharraf himself. In addition to lending his voice, the actor has also performed the song on-screen in the film. The track was recently released under the G-Series banner.

Directed by Fazlul Kabir Tuhin and based on a novel by Nuruddin Jahangir, this Bangladeshi film is a powerful narrative of survival, societal conflict, and individual resistance. The movie’s poster was unveiled on January 10, in the presence of lead actor Mosharraf Karim.

The story, penned by Nuruddin Jahangir, explores the themes of women's empowerment and maternal independence, bringing the narrative to life with the stellar performances of Mosharraf Karim and Parno Mitra. 

Based on Nuruddin Jahangir's novel of the same title, the plot revolves around a rape victim, who continues her battle against the social stigma.

The government granted project also stars Indian actress Parno Mittrah, Shilpi Sarkar Apu, Airin Putul and Lutfur Rahman George, amongst others.

For the first time in his illustrious career, prominent actor Mosharraf Karim is all set to make his debut as a playback singer.

Tollywood actress Parno Mitra was previously featured in Mostofa Sarwar Farooki's film, "Doob". The movie also starred Irrfan Khan, and Nusrat Imrose Tisha, among others.
