BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has rubbished claims of meeting officials in Pakistan embassy saying it is “a despicable rumour”.

Supporters of the BNP leaders, who were not nominated, resume their demonstration for the second consecutive day in front of the party Chairperson Khaleda Zia’s Gulshan office in Dhaka.

Supporters of the Awami League and BNP leaders who were not nominated have demonstrated in the capital and several other districts, and demanded party tickets be given to their favourites.
