BNP's Nayapaltan office has opened after four days, as all the barricades were removed from the road in front of the office a day after the party's Dhaka rally.

A man was killed and at least 30 others were injured after a clash erupted between police and BNP men in front of the party's central office in the capital's Nayapaltan this afternoon.

The government and the BNP appear to be on a collision course over the venue of the latter’s much-talked about December 10 Dhaka rally as neither would budge on its stance.
