The High Court has directed Border Guard of Bangladesh (BGB) to enforce awareness building programmes at schools in bordering areas to keep children and juveniles away from drugs and smuggling.

The High Court has stayed a government decision that cancelled freedom fighter status of 119 members of Border Guard of Bangladesh (BGB), clearing their way to get benefits as freedom fighters.
