Bangladesh’s premier boxer Sura Krishna Chakma threw a challenge to Youtuber-turned-prizefighter Jake Paul, who beat an ageing Mike Tyson in a one-sided affair at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington on Saturday.

Sura's appointment in the private sector is expected to play an important role in his continued growth in boxing.

Bangladesh’s premier boxer Sura Krishna Chakma beat India's Sandeep Kumar in an eight-round battle at a competition titled ‘Path to Glory: Hustle in Dhaka Square’ in Dhaka on Saturday night.

Although the match was scheduled to be a six-round bout, Sura Krisha, who is acclaimed for his lightning-fast hands, knocked Sornram out just within a minute and 50 seconds in the second round with strong punches and striking jabs.

“Recently when I visited my locality in Rangamati, people inquired about professional boxing and how their children can pursue their passion in the sport. It gives me a lot of pleasure,” said a thoroughly content Sura Krishna Chakma, Bangladesh’s first professional boxer and the champion of the first international professional boxing tournament held in the country last year.
