The much-anticipated film “Chaalchitro”, which initially released in theatres on December 20, marked Ziaul Faruq Apurba’s debut in Kolkata’s film industry and received widespread acclaim from audiences and critics alike. Hoichoi has now officially announced that the film is set to release on their OTT platform on February 7.

With the film “Chalchitra”, Dhaka-based actor Ziaul Faruq Apurba has marked his debut in Kolkata’s film industry as well as on the global cinematic stage.

Ziaul Faruq Apurba is all set to emerge as the latest hero of Tollywood, marking his return to the big screen after an eight-year hiatus. The actor, especially popular on the small screen, will debut in West Bengal with “Chalchitra”, directed by Pratim D Gupta.

Director Bratya Basu's latest film, “Hubba”, is set to hit theatres in West Bengal, India, on January 19. The lead role in the film is portrayed by celebrated actor Mosharraf Karim. Ahead of its release, promotional posters featuring the actor have been strategically placed in various locations, including Kolkata. The posters of “Hubba” are prominently displayed on walls, cars, and trams, creating widespread anticipation for the film.

Described as a blend of thriller and comedy, "Hubba" introduces Karim in an unprecedented gangster role, showcasing his versatility once again. The film, scheduled for release in Kolkata theatres on January 19, also features Indranil Sengupta, Shravani Das, and Soumik Haldar in pivotal roles.
