“The Marvels”, starring Brie Larson and featuring an all-female ensemble cast, debuted with the lowest opening in the Marvel Cinematic Universe's history, generating only $21.5 million in North America on its first day.

MCU's next movie "The Marvels" is primarily the second instalment of Captain Marvel, but it will also include two additional subplots and characters. The movie directed by Nia DaCosta will be released tomorrow in Bangladesh alongside its worldwide release.

“The Marvels”, which is essentially a sequel to “Captain Marvel”, doesn’t solely focus on Captain Marvel, but also ties in with Ms Marvel aka Kamala Khan and Monica Rambeau.

On Thursday, Netflix posted a cast announcement video on YouTube and other social media platforms. The show's development was announced in January 2022, but the voice actors had yet to be unveiled.

Sources say Larson is in early talks to play Captain Marvel, one of Marvel’s most popular female superheroes, in an upcoming standalone film.
