The three national awards “Brihonnola” was awarded back in 2014 from the categories of Best Film, Best Dialogue and Best Story have been revoked owing to the accused plagiarism of the film's story.

The government has stripped of national award winning film “Brihonnola” of the recognition after finding it copied the storyline from a writer without permission.
